1. Returns Policy:

We get it—sometimes things don’t work out. But as a small business trying to create a big impact on the environment, we’re not offering returns or exchanges at this moment. We’re all about reducing waste, and that’s why we’ve made our products with love and care, so you’ll be happy with them from the get-go.

But hey, if your product arrives damaged, we’ll make it right!  

If your product is damaged or you received an incorrect item, please email us at hello@carbonlife.com within 48 hours of delivery with the following details:

  • Your order number

  • Your delivery address

  • A clear description of the issue (and if it’s damaged, please send us a picture so we can work quickly on it!)

If it’s a genuine quality issue, we’ll be happy to exchange the product or refund your order within 10 working days after the product is returned to us.

We ship your products with love and care as fast as we can! Typically, you can expect your order to arrive within 5-7 business days. We’re a small team, but we promise to get your order to you as soon as possible.

Shipping is free for all purchases, no exceptions! The price you pay includes all the delivery costs, so no surprises at checkout.

Our delivery partners will try a few times to deliver, but if you’re still unavailable, the order will be sent back to us and canceled. So, make sure to provide us with the complete and accurate shipping address (including zip code) and a mobile number for quicker delivery.

2.2 How Do I Care for My Carbon Life Products?

Taking care of your Carbon Life products is a breeze. Wash with mild soap and water—no harsh chemicals needed. To keep them looking fresh and lasting longer, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. We’re all about longevity, so giving your products a little TLC will ensure they continue to shine in your life for years to come.

2.3 Are Carbon Life Products Safe for Food and Drinks?

Absolutely! All our products are BPA-free, non-toxic, and safe for everyday use. Whether it’s sipping your coffee or serving your lunch, you can do so with peace of mind knowing you're using eco-friendly products.

2.4 Are Carbon Life Products Dishwasher Safe?

Yes! All our products are dishwasher safe, making cleaning them as easy as enjoying your coffee. But, just in case, we recommend placing them on the top rack for best results.

2.5 Are Your Products Microwave Safe?

Yes, most of our products are microwave safe! But, just to be sure, always look for the microwave symbol on the product description page before popping it in.

2.6 How Do I Dispose of My Carbon Life Product After Use?

Once your Carbon Life product has served you well, we encourage you to return it for recycling. Just hand it over to your municipal waste collection agency along with other dry waste suitable for recycling. Simple, right?

2.7 Are the products unbreakable?

For their intended use, our products are tough as nails. They’re built to last, and while they’re not indestructible, they can handle a few drops without breaking. We like to call it "tough love."

2.8 Are Carbon Life products biodegradable?

Most of our products aren’t biodegradable (unless we explicitly mention it), but they are recyclable at the end of their life. We’re all about durability and sustainability—not throwing things away.

2.9 Where are the products made?

All of our products, and the materials used to make them, are proudly crafted in India. From our Mysore facility to our partners across the country, everything is designed and produced with sustainability in mind.

2.10 What is the shelf life of the products?

Our Turtle collection is built to last like steel or plastic (with proper care, of course). For our Beetle collection, the products are durable, but they’re made from natural ingredients, so they will age naturally over time, just like your favorite leather jacket. With proper care, they’ll last for years.

2.11 What ingredients do you use in your products?

Our products are made from 100% bio-based materials, including bamboo fibers, rice husk, coffee husk, and starch. For the Turtle collection, we use up to 50% renewable resources like bamboo, rice husk, and coffee husk, with food-contact-safe binders and additives. No melamine, formaldehyde, or harmful chemicals here!

2.12 How are your products different from melamine?

Melamine is known for leaking harmful chemicals when exposed to heat, making it dangerous for food and drinks. Our products have better heat stability, are safe for microwaves, and are recyclable or compostable at their end of life—unlike melamine, which can’t even be recycled.

2.13 How are your products different from other molded bamboo products?

Many bamboo products on the market contain melamine and formaldehyde, both of which are harmful and carcinogenic. Our products? No toxic chemicals here. Just clean, safe, sustainable materials you can trust.

2.14 Where do you source your renewable materials from?

We source our materials sustainably from farmers and factories. The materials we use are agri-waste—the byproducts of agricultural and industrial activities that would otherwise go to waste.

2.15 Can I use scrubs to wash the products?

We recommend avoiding harsh scrubs, as they can age the product faster—think of it like scrubbing your favorite linen shirt. Stick to mild washing for longevity.

2.16 How do your products compare to wooden products?

Our products are made from crop waste, not trees. No trees felled, no toxic chemicals used. Less wastage, better carbon footprint. Plus, unlike wooden cutlery that’s often coated with harmful chemicals, our products are completely safe to use with food. Sustainable, without the guilt.

2.17 How are your products better than plastic products?

Plastic is amazing, but not when it’s disposable. Our products reduce carbon footprint, conserve resources, and help prevent plastic pollution by using natural fibers derived from agri-waste.
